Rahul Sankrityayan (1893 - 1963) is   a scholar, theoretician and writer. He spent forty-five years of his life on travels away from home and is called the father of Hindi travel literature. Volga se Ganga is the most famous of 150 books he wrote but I was more influenced by another book Vismrit Yatri. It tells you how to travel across the world with a backpack. As a child I was so influenced by this book, I ran away from home. My parents brought me back and they struggled to give me a descent education. I became a Doctor, made a career, raised a family but the dream kept coming back. I intend to travel as long as I can and I will show you what ever I have seen. Please come again, this page will have new places as long as I live.
